- Prepare Your Media:
- Take your RED Approved CFast card and insert it into your computer.
- On the root (main) level of the card, create a new folder and name it exactly
luts(all lowercase).
- Copy Your LUTs:
- Place your 3D LUT files (typically
.cubefiles) into thelutsfolder you just created. - Ensure your LUTs are compatible (the Komodo supports 33x33x33 LUTs).

- Insert into Camera:
- Safely eject the card from your computer and insert it into your RED Komodo camera.
- Import into Camera:
- On the camera, navigate to the menu: MENU > IMAGE / LUT > 3D LUT.
- Select On Media LUTs.
- Choose Import or Import All to load the LUTs from the card into the camera’s internal memory.
- Apply the LUT:
- Once imported, go back to the 3D LUT menu and select LUT to choose from your list of available, loaded LUTs to apply to your image.
